Call me old fashioned…

I don’t know if you’ve been following the local news story of a pastor who had been reported missing by his wife only to be found in an Ohio strip club a day later.  It is an unfortunate family event and I hope that they are able to work things out and get the help that they need.

Call me old-fashioned, but what happened to the good old days when a man could reach his boiling point and go out on a two day “bender” only to face the perfectly deserved ridicule, scorn and embarrassment of his wife and family without having to have his face plastered all over the local news and newspaper.

Is it necessary for the whole world to know what he drank, how many lap dances he had and his concern over the cost of said dances? C’mon mainstream media, that’s not news, let the family deal with it in private, and let’s take the Reverend at his word, “I have no idea how I got there!”

Barry hit the nail on the head with this one. Let’s discuss….

There are two existing schools of thought on this one.:
1-Big-brother is already here. Try it. Just disconnect for 2 hours and there will be an Amber alert or adult equivalent on you before you know it.
People around you will say “It isn’t like him not to answer his cell phone (every freaking time I call) I mean I only call him 40 times an hour.” That brings me to the second school of thought:

2-We have given our families and the peope around us a real sense of security and that is a dangerous thing. People don’t disappear anymore unless something bad is happening to them. You fall asleep in the park and the people around you assume you are getting raped and slaughtered like a pig.

The sad part about this is that the Pastoreis going to find a doctor to find an enlarged tumor in his head so he can avoid taking responsibility. It is not socially acceptable to take responsibility for your actions anymore.

Stop the insanity! I propose a National Night Out when all family men and women just walk away from their friends and family for one night. Odds are that only .01% of you will actually be raped and slaughtered like pigs.
It is a small price to pay to help men and women get back what they have lost.
P.S. If I suddenly disappear please call the police.

when can we just go back to those innocent days where ‘boys will be boys’. its not the pastor’s fault, i’m sure he was just trying to save those poor girl’s souls. there the ones that are in trouble if you ask me.

Next March 29th is the first annual Pastor Craig night.
I hope the clubs schedule enough dancers to handle the demand.
